2020 Homeschool Mom Conference

It’s that time of year…Homeschool Conference Season!  This year, many in-person conferences have been delayed or rescheduled for later in the summer (we hope). I’ve been involved with the online Homeschool Mom Conference since it started in 2018…It’s the original online homeschool conference! But because the concept is still relatively new–you might be wondering exactly how an online homeschool conference works. So let’s dig in and talk about what to expect at the 2020 Homeschool Mom Conference! (And why it’s perfect for both new and veteran homeschool moms!)

The 2020 Homeschool Mom Conference has ended…I hope you will join me next year! You can also find lots of  Homeschool information on my Homeschool Page or Visit My YouTube Channel!

The Details:

49 expert homeschool speakers (who collectively have over 550 years of homeschool experience) have poured their hearts into 99 workshops.  The workshops have all been prepared and recorded in advance–each one intended to bless and encourage moms on their homeschool and parenting journey.

Beginning on Monday, April 6–about 14 sessions will be released.  You can watch them at your convenience–they will be waiting for you and your cup of coffee!

Each day about 14 new sessions will be released–and each day will have a specific theme (such as how-to-homeschool, special needs, and in-depth help for specific subject areas).

*I’m speaking at 3 Sessions:

  • Let’s Simplify, Sweet Momma (You’re Doing Too Much!)
  • 5 Strategies for New or Struggling Readers
  • How to Teach History & Science Without a Curriculum

And the best part is, you get lifetime access to ALL the workshops–you will just log-in and watch when you it works for you!  No need to rush or feel overwhelmed–you’ve got plenty of time to dive deep!

**And don’t worry if you register later in the week…you will have immediate access to everything that has been released!

Overall, the convenience of an online conference is probably my favorite part…I get to learn and be encouraged in the comfort of my own home, when it works for me!  No trying to juggle schedules or figuring out how to leave all my kids for the day or weekend—it’s stress free!

PLUS Community…

Of course, one of the nice things about an in-person conference is actually meeting and connecting with other homeschool moms, speakers, and homeschool vendors…(However even as an extrovert–I find in-person conventions to be a bit overwhelming…)

But the 2020 Homeschool Mom Conference provides a Vendor Hall where you can learn more about curriculum, ask questions (no waiting in a crazy long line), and get exclusive discounts & recommendations from various homeschool businesses. (Plus they have great giveaways through the week!)

And the conference has a Community Group where you can meet and connect with other homeschool moms and the speakers (everyone is really accessible and has such big hearts for homeschool moms)! And there are daily prizes and giveaways going on in the group!

In addition, after you watch a workshop–there is a place to leave comments and interact with each speaker.  (We LOVE connecting with you there!)

Swag Bag

Is it really a homeschool conference if you don’t walk away with your bag of goodies?

So of course, all attendees get one! And this year’s swag bag is amazing (valued at over $900)–filled with discounts & digital products for you to download!

The Grand Canyon literally took my breath away!😂😬 Jason & I hiked down from the South Rim (Bright Angel Trail) to the bottom, camped 2 nights, & hiked out the South Kaibab Trail (4,800 ft elevation gain from camp)...If you know me—you know this was WAY out of my comfort zone!😅

My husband is the best trainer because I actually felt so good! 🥳🏆(He’s been getting me ready since September...ie...6 am hikes, sub-zero temps, & repeating the same one hill we could find elevation on in Kansas!!) And we’re still training for a rim-to-rim hike in June! 🏜

I really could not decide which pictures to share...none of them do this amazing place any justice...🏕

❤️My 6 year old twins created this barn (and a set of paper dolls & horses)--complete with apples in a barrel, hay for the horses, and tiny carrots...I did nothing but provide the materials and the TIME to play!

It may not be Instagram or Pinterest “pretty”—but they were so engrossed and immersed in the process!!
